It's not that easy to find a good carrot cake in Singapore - some are too heavy, some are too sweet, some are too dry.... This one is fluffy, moist, not too dense, sweet but not too sweet, and chock-full of carrots. My version contains no nuts. This cake is one of the most popular amongst my friends and relatives - it's a crowd pleaser and is gobbled up by young and old alike!
I've found that many people aren't keen on a thick layer of heavy frosting, so the frosting I've chosen to complement this cake is slightly tangy and not sugary sweet. It can "tahan" (tolerate) Singapore weather, although please don't leave it in the sun or near a hot stove - like all frosting, it will melt and lose its shape.
Each cake weighs about 900g and costs $33.
Custom colours of frosting (including all-natural colours), no frosting or double-layered cakes are possible, please get in touch if you have a request. You can see some custom-coloured versions of this cake on the Custom orders page.

These delicious pineapple tarts are carefully handmade, for anyone still craving these after the Lunar New Year season! :-)
The generous amount of pineapple paste that fills each tart is made by hand using only pineapple and rock sugar, for a pure pineapple taste. I make my pineapple paste moderately sweet (not too sweet). If you prefer a more sour taste, just let me know when you order, and I will adjust the amount of sugar accordingly.
The crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth pastry is also handmade with natural ingredients - fragrant and rich with real butter and a touch of pure vanilla. These can keep for at least a month at room temperature - just keep the jar tightly closed.
S$18 per jar of 25 pieces.
